Ready to roll up your sleeves and be part of something sweet? Whether you’re in one of our bustling standalone factories or a show-stopping theatre store, you’ll be at the heart of the action, helping produce the doughnuts everyone loves.

In our standalone factories, you’ll join a dedicated team responsible for mixing, processing, and packaging our world-famous doughnuts — fresh and ready to ship to local stores and supermarket shelves. It’s fast-paced, hands-on work where every role plays a key part in our success.

Depending on the location, you may be applying to work in one of our unique theatre stores — where the factory is front and centre, and the doughnut-making magic happens live for customers to see. When the Hot light is on, it’s showtime! Guests gather to watch the doughnuts being mixed, fried, and glazed in real time — and your part of the performance.

No baking experience? No problem. We provide full training — all you need is a great attitude, a team mindset, and a readiness to learn. Whether you're behind the scenes or in the spotlight, this is your chance to grow your career while making something people love.

Why you'll love working here

At Krispy Kreme, we're all about making every moment a little brighter and that starts with our people. Join our friendly, collaborative team where your ideas are valued, your development is supported, and there's always time to celebrate success together.

Alongside a great culture, you'll enjoy a range of benefits including:

  • A welcoming and inclusive team
  • Paid training from day one
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • Employee discount
  • Pension scheme
  • Holiday pay
  • Health & Wellbeing support
  • Recognition for great work
  • Uniform provided
  • And of course... delicious Krispy Kreme doughnuts!

Lead the team. Bring the Hotlight to life.

Awesome doughnuts start with a team that’s ready to shine. We’re looking for a hands-on Hotlight Supervisor to lead our evening production operation, bringing together great people, careful planning and a passion for quality to create customer wonder, the Krispy Kreme way.

Your role

You will be responsible for leading on the day-to-day Hotlight operation, coaching your team and keeping production running safely, smoothly and to plan. This is more than leading a shift: you’ll also organise the planning, ordering, records and cleaning activity that make great production possible, working within agreed company plans and controls.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead, brief and coach your team through set-up, live production and shutdown, creating a respectful, inclusive working environment.
• Plan production against agreed demand, organise rosters and submit accurate payroll hours.
• Keep ingredients, packaging and supplies ready for production, managing stock rotation, traceability and waste.
• Maintain doughnut quality and complete food safety, allergen and quality checks.
• Coordinate equipment checks, authorised first-line maintenance, planned fryer boil-outs and cleaning schedules, escalating faults when specialist support is needed.
• Keep production and compliance records accurate, use results to make practical improvements and raise operational risks promptly.
• Help deliver the theatre-store experience by keeping visible production true to Krispy Kreme standards.

What you’ll bring

• Experience leading people and operational delivery in food manufacturing, bakery, hospitality production or another regulated production environment.
• Practical knowledge of production planning, stock ordering, rosters and labour control.
• A working understanding of food safety, allergens, traceability, hygiene and health and safety.
• Confidence carrying out equipment care within your training and authorisation, coordinating maintenance support and organising safe cleaning and boil-out activity.
• Strong organisation and administration skills, including payroll hours, production reporting and quality records.
• Clear communication, a calm and practical approach to live production, and confidence using Outlook, Excel, Teams and operational systems.

Experience in a Krispy Kreme Hotlight or theatre-store environment, fryer or bakery-line operation, audits or continuous improvement would be a bonus. Food Safety Level 3, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent training, and first-aid or fire-marshal training are desirable, not essential.

Working at the heart of Hotlight

The evening production window normally runs for three hours a day, but this is not a three-hours-a-day role. Your working hours will also cover planning, administration, ordering, reporting, training and maintenance and cleaning coordination. Flexibility is needed for planned deep cleans, deliveries, audits and operational contingencies. The role involves hot oil, hot surfaces, machinery, cleaning chemicals and manual handling, with required training, safety controls and protective equipment followed at all times.
Ready to bring your leadership to Hotlight?
If you enjoy leading from the front, getting the details right and helping a team deliver something awesome, we’d love to hear from you.
