Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our websites, services or events. By accessing our websites, creating an account, uploading a CV, applying for a vacancy, posting a job, purchasing advertising services, attending an event or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you should not use our websites or services.

Throughout these Terms and Conditions, references to "The Company", "we", "us" and "our" mean Retail Human Resources Ltd and its associated trading brands.
2. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
Advertiser means any employer, recruiter, agency or organisation advertising vacancies or purchasing services from us.
Application means any application submitted for a vacancy advertised through our services, including a CV and any supporting information.
CV Bank means our searchable database of candidate CVs and profiles.
Jobseeker means any individual using our services to search for employment opportunities.
Live Event means the Retail & Hospitality Live recruitment event.
Services means all websites, events, advertising products, candidate databases, publications, email services and related products operated by The Company.
User means any person or organisation accessing or using our Services.
3. Privacy and Data Protection
3.1 By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted our Privacy Policy.
3.2 We will process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
3.3 Users are responsible for ensuring that any personal information they provide is accurate and kept up to date.
4. Use of Our Services
4.1 Our Services are intended to facilitate recruitment, career development and employment opportunities within the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors.
4.2 Users may access, view, download and print content from our websites solely for lawful and legitimate recruitment-related purposes.
4.3 Users must not:
- Use our Services for any unlawful purpose;
- Interfere with the operation or security of our websites;
- Upload malicious software or harmful code;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems;
- Reproduce, distribute, publish or commercially exploit our content without our prior written consent.
4.4 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our Services where we reasonably believe a User has breached these Terms.
5. Service Availability
5.1 We use reasonable endeavours to ensure that our Services remain available at all times.
5.2 We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and accept no liability for any interruption, delay, outage or technical failure.
5.3 We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend or discontinue any part of our Services at any time.
6. Jobseekers
6.1 Applications
By submitting an Application, you confirm that:
- The information provided is accurate, complete and truthful;
- Your qualifications, employment history and experience are correctly represented;
- You have read and understood the requirements of the vacancy;
- Your personal details are current and accurate.
6.2 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services if information supplied by you is found to be false, misleading or fraudulent.
6.3 Applications are reviewed solely by the relevant employer or recruiter.
6.4 We do not participate in recruitment decisions and accept no responsibility for the outcome of any Application.
6.5 Requests for feedback or updates regarding an Application should be directed to the relevant employer or recruiter.
6.2 CV Bank
6.6 Where you choose to upload your CV to our CV Bank, you consent to authorised employers and recruiters accessing your information for recruitment purposes.
6.7. You may amend or remove your CV from our database at any time.
6.8 While we take reasonable steps to restrict access to legitimate recruiters, we cannot control how third parties use information once lawfully accessed.
6.3 Jobs by Email
6.9 By subscribing to our Jobs by Email service, you agree to receive job alerts and recruitment-related communications.
6.10 You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in our emails.
6.4 Vacancy Disclaimer
6.11 Vacancies published through our Services are provided by third-party employers and recruiters.
6.12 We do not verify, endorse or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality or suitability of any vacancy, employer or recruiter.
6.13 Jobseekers are responsible for conducting their own checks before accepting employment or providing personal information.
7. Employers and Recruiters
7.1 Advertising Services
7.1 Advertisers will be provided with access to the Services purchased.
7.2 Advertising will remain active for the agreed advertising period.
7.3 Where a website outage exceeds six consecutive hours, the advertising period will be extended by either one day or the duration of the outage, whichever is greater.
7.4 Technical support will be provided via email and telephone during normal business hours.
7.5 Advertisers may remove advertising at any time. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, no refunds will be provided for unused services.
7.6 We may, at our discretion, promote vacancies through additional channels including email campaigns, social media and associated websites.
7.2 Fees and Payment
7.7 Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
7.8 Interest may be charged on overdue accounts at 2% per calendar month.
7.9 All fees are payable in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
7.10 The Advertiser is responsible for any bank charges, currency conversion costs or transaction fees.
7.3 Advertiser Obligations
7.11 Advertisers shall ensure that only authorised personnel access the Services.
7.12 Login credentials must be kept confidential and may not be shared with third parties.
7.13 Advertisers warrant that all content submitted:
- Is accurate and truthful;
- Complies with applicable laws and regulations;
- Is not defamatory, discriminatory, misleading or offensive;
- Does not infringe any intellectual property rights.
7.14 Advertisers authorise us to publish vacancies across any websites or platforms operated by The Company.
7.15 Advertisers shall not:
- Reverse engineer or attempt to access underlying software or systems;
- Use scraping tools, robots or automated extraction software;
- Manipulate search results through keyword stuffing or similar practices;
- Publish pyramid selling, network marketing or "get rich quick" opportunities.
7.16 Links to external websites may only be included with our prior written consent.
7.4 Candidate Information
7.17 CVs and candidate information may only be used for genuine recruitment purposes.
7.18 Candidate information must not be disclosed, sold, transferred or made available to third parties without the candidate's express consent.
7.19 Advertisers must comply with all applicable data protection legislation.
7.20 Advertisers are responsible for verifying candidate identity, qualifications, references and eligibility to work.
8. Live Events
8.1 The Company reserves the right to refuse admission to any person attending a Live Event.
8.2 We reserve the right to remove any attendee whose conduct is disruptive, abusive, offensive, threatening or otherwise inappropriate.
8.3 Attendees must comply with venue rules, health and safety requirements and reasonable instructions given by event staff.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All intellectual property rights in our Services, websites, content, branding, software and materials remain the property of The Company or its licensors.
9.2 Nothing in these Terms grants any User ownership rights in our intellectual property.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 We do not guarantee:
- The number of applications received;
- The quality or suitability of candidates;
- The accuracy of information supplied by third parties;
- The successful filling of vacancies.
10.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss, including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity or anticipated savings.
10.3 Our total liability arising from or in connection with our Services shall not exceed the amount paid by the User to us during the twelve months preceding the claim.
10.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Indemnity
11.1 Advertisers agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Company against all claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from:
- Their breach of these Terms;
- Their use of candidate information;
- Any content they submit or publish;
- Any breach of applicable laws or regulations.
12. Suspension and Termination
12.1 We may suspend or terminate access to our Services immediately where a User breaches these Terms.
12.2 Advertisers may terminate their use of our Services at any time.
12.3 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments made are non-refundable.
12.4 Where we terminate an advertising agreement without fault on the part of the Advertiser, we may provide a pro-rata refund for any unused services.
13. General
13.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any booking confirmation or written agreement, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
13.2 Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on our websites and will take effect immediately unless otherwise stated.
13.3 Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
13.4 Assignment
Users may not assign or transfer any rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.
13.5 Third Party Rights
No third party shall have any right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
13.6 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13.7 Notices
Any notice under these Terms must be given in writing by email or post to the last notified contact details of the relevant party.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales in relation to any dispute arising from or connected with these Terms and Conditions.
