The Retail Appointment events have by far been the most enjoyable events for us as a company to attend. The organisation is streamline, and you can see the thought which goes into the layout of the areas in order to help make it a successful day for each client who participates. Not only do the team organise the day extremely well, they show a genuine care for their clients, checking in with us throughout the day, but also if we need anything before the event they are more than happy to help support. The Retail Appointment team always demonstrate a great attitude, and are positive, polite and just lovely, which makes me always want to attend and join on of their events. They also host seminars for various different topics, which I think is a great idea to build awareness, not only from their end, but as a company I work for, where the impact of building awareness could have a positive impact on external candidates, and is also key to take into account when recruiting, moving forward with the times, and doing things slightly differently. Overall, the team are fantastic, they take an interest in each client, caring for us in ways which make us feel as part of one team, and take on board any feedback which could help us improve our recruitment drive from the events they host.

Harrods and Retail Appointment have been working together on various retail recruitment marketing activities for some time – we also regularly attend the Retail & Hospitality Live careers fairs each year and we’re looking forward to the next event. The fair itself is really well organised, we get great support leading up the event to make sure it’s a success and we’re as prepared as we can be. We're always looking for talent and especially in London. Retail & Hospitality Live allowed us to get in front of candidates who were actively looking. We even conducted interviews on site! Our best hire from the day had to be an assistant manager for our newly refurbished flagship in Leicester Square! Those attending who didn't have management experience were able to have a conversation with us and this resulted in some great junior hires that we weren't expecting. Overall, it's great to have a presence in front of an active and relevant pool of candidates.
