What exhibitors say
Every job board and recruitment event claims to deliver outstanding results, but we believe our clients' experiences speak louder than our promises.
Puttshack attended Retail & Hospitality Live and it was a fantastic day! This was our second time attending and there were some top brands exhibiting alongside us and it was filled with lots of candidates looking for work, to which we had really good success interviewing and offering candidates on the day! I would highly recommend.
Mark Williams - PuttshackThe Retail Appointment events have by far been the most enjoyable events for us as a company to attend. The organisation is streamline, and you can see the thought which goes into the layout of the areas in order to help make it a successful day for each client who participates. Not only do the team organise the day extremely well, they show a genuine care for their clients, checking in with us throughout the day, but also if we need anything before the event they are more than happy to help support. The Retail Appointment team always demonstrate a great attitude, and are positive, polite and just lovely, which makes me always want to attend and join on of their events. They also host seminars for various different topics, which I think is a great idea to build awareness, not only from their end, but as a company I work for, where the impact of building awareness could have a positive impact on external candidates, and is also key to take into account when recruiting, moving forward with the times, and doing things slightly differently. Overall, the team are fantastic, they take an interest in each client, caring for us in ways which make us feel as part of one team, and take on board any feedback which could help us improve our recruitment drive from the events they host.
Tundeep Kundi - World Duty FreeHarrods and Retail Appointment have been working together on various retail recruitment marketing activities for some time – we also regularly attend the Retail & Hospitality Live careers fairs each year and we’re looking forward to the next event. The fair itself is really well organised, we get great support leading up the event to make sure it’s a success and we’re as prepared as we can be. Most importantly however we’re able to get in front large volumes of potential candidates some of whom we progress through the application and screening process on the day itself which brings great advantages and a positive candidate experience. The team also enjoy attending as it’s a positive, and fun atmosphere where they’re also able to network amongst their peers across different organisations. We really value what Retail Appointment is currently doing in a difficult, and competitive talent market. Thank you all!
Natalie Prochaski - HarrodsRetail & Hospitality Live was a fantastic opportunity to meet people with a diverse range of skills and experience, who perhaps wouldn’t have applied through the usual channels. We were able to speak to them directly and tell them more about our company and job opportunities – the overall level of engagement was fantastic!
Mike Newman - EverymanRetail & Hospitality Live was very positive from our perspective, so thank you again for hosting us, we really appreciate the continued partnership. We’re already booked in for the next event and really looking forward to it.
Sam Ryder - Vision ExpressRetail & Hospitality Live is amazing from a brand perspective and actual fills. We ended up hiring several lower levels and 2 Assistant store managers!
Grace Garnham - RitualsWe had a fantastic time exhibiting at the Retail & Hospitality Live event! We didn’t stop chatting with people the entire time, the energy around the stand was incredible! It was fantastic to talk all things Halfords and I’m really hopeful we’ll see some brilliant new talent join us as a result of the conversations we had on the day.
April Stoutt - HalfordsWe're always looking for talent and especially in London. Retail & Hospitality Live allowed us to get in front of candidates who were actively looking. We even conducted interviews on site! Our best hire from the day had to be an assistant manager for our newly refurbished flagship in Leicester Square! Those attending who didn't have management experience were able to have a conversation with us and this resulted in some great junior hires that we weren't expecting. Overall, it's great to have a presence in front of an active and relevant pool of candidates.
Paul Walsh - Burger KingRetail & Hospitality Live was a great return on investment. We were able to find the right talent for our kitchen and chef positions for our London neighbourhood spots and even some fantastic managers. I would recommend the event for any retail or hospitality business.
Tim Maguire - Megan'sGreat day yesterday with some of the Region 5 team at the Retail Appointment recruitment fair in London.
So many people came to the stand to talk about the opportunities we have in our stores, and we got to showcase what a fantastic place Iceland and the Food Warehouse is to work.
