Contract Manager
Contract Sites: Scarborough, Hull and Whittlesey
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE)

Drive Commercial Success. Deliver Operational Excellence.

We’re seeking an experienced and well-rounded Facilities Management professional with a sharp commercial focus and a proven track record of delivering Soft FM services including cleaning, security and catering across multiple sites.

This is a senior, hands-on operational role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, blue-collar environment and enjoys building strong client relationships while driving performance, compliance and commercial outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive FM provider where operational excellence, client partnership, and service innovation go hand in hand.

Your Role

As Contract Manager, you will be the single point of accountability for the overall performance of the contract, with a clear focus on operational excellence, financial control and client satisfaction.

  • End-to-end operational delivery across all three sites
  • Spend the majority of your time embedded on site, supporting teams and clients
  • Lead, develop and inspire multi-disciplinary teams across security, cleaning and catering
  • Act as the key contact for clients, hosting monthly review meetings, producing reports and managing service performance against KPIs and SLAs
  • Take full ownership of financial performance, including P&L management, cost control and forecasting
  • Ensure 100% statutory and contractual compliance, championing health, safety and governance at all times
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation and service development across all service lines
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence, coaching and developing site managers and supervisors to strengthen succession and capability
  • Maintaining consistently high service standards across security, cleaning and catering.

About You

  • At least 3 years’ experience managing multiple sites within Facilities Management (Soft Services)
  • Proven operational expertise across security, cleaning and catering
  • A strong, evidenced background in client relationship management
  • Demonstrable experience managing P&L, budgets and financial reporting
  • The ability to lead and develop teams within a blue-collar operational environment
  • A proactive, solutions-focused leadership style with excellent stakeholder skills
  • Flexibility to travel and work autonomously across multiple locations

Qualifications & Requirements

  • SIA Non-Frontline Licence (held previously or currently, with ability to re-qualify)
  • IOSH qualification desirable
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to work flexibly and remotely when required
