We're looking for confident and experienced Retail Team Leaders to oversee one or multiple kiosks on busy matchdays, leading teams to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced, high-energy stadium environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and motivating kiosk teams across Villa Park on matchdays.
- Overseeing one or multiple retail kiosks and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Supporting and guiding till operators, pourers, and retail staff during service.
- Managing customer flow, queues and service standards during busy periods.
- Ensuring cash handling and till procedures are completed accurately.
- Monitoring stock levels and supporting replenishment where needed.
- Maintaining exceptional standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
- Acting as the key point of contact for operational issues and resolving them quickly and professionally.
- Ensuring all company and unit policies are followed, including Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling and COSHH.
What we're looking for:
- You must be aged 18 or over.
- Previous experience working in a stadium or arena retail kiosk is essential.
- Strong understanding of matchday retail operations and service flow.
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience is highly desirable.
- Confident leadership style with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a busy, high-pressure environment.
- A positive, hands-on approach and willingness to support wherever needed.
This is a Casual Matchday Position
This is a casual, flexible matchday role, offering the opportunity to work at Villa Park – home of Aston Villa FC throughout the football season and at other exciting events where available.
Availability for the following fixtures is essential:
- Monday 28th July
- Monday 4th August
- Thursday 28th August
...and all remaining Aston Villa home fixtures throughout the season.
