Shpehrd Neame have an exciting opportunity to support the systems, data and processes that help keep Britain's oldest brewer operating effectively across our pubs, hotels, brewery and support functions.
As a Systems Support Assistant in our Business Systems team, you will provide first-line support for system and data requests, maintain accurate information across business systems and support colleagues with day-to-day queries. You'll play an important role in ensuring requests are handled efficiently, approved updates are processed accurately and our systems continue to support the needs of the business

What You'll Do
- Monitor support queues and shared inboxes, ensuring requests are logged, reviewed and prioritised promptly.
- Resolve routine systems and data queries, providing excellent customer service to colleagues across the business.
- Complete approved system and master data updates accurately and in line with agreed processes and controls.
- Maintain system records, user guides and supporting documentation to ensure information remains current and accessible.
- Provide first-line guidance to users on business systems, processes and information requirements.
- Ensure requests contain the appropriate information and approvals before progressing updates or changes.
- Escalate complex or higher-risk issues to analysts, system owners or technical teams where required.
- Support testing, data validation and user acceptance activities for system changes and enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records of requests, updates, testing outcomes and actions taken.
- Work collaboratively with teams across the business to support reliable systems, accurate data and efficient processes.
- Identify recurring issues, trends and opportunities to improve services, systems and ways of working.
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 08:30–17:00)

What You’ll Need:
- Experience in an administration, systems, data or customer support role.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A customer-focused approach and a desire to provide excellent support to colleagues.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet agreed deadlines.
- Confidence in recognising when issues need to be escalated.
- Experience using shared inboxes, ticketing systems or business support tools would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of ERP, retail, finance or other business systems would be beneficial, but is not essential.
