Hospitality Junior Sous Chef
We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Sous Chef to support the delivery of an exceptional food offer within a busy corporate hospitality environment. This is a fast-paced kitchen where quality, consistency, high standards and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Hospitality Junior Sous Chef:
- Support with the smooth running of the kitchen on a daily basis
- Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes to consistently high standards
- Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and portion control
- Lead by example and support the development of junior members of the kitchen team
- Ensure all food hygiene, health and safety and kitchen standards are maintained
- Assist with stock management, ordering, stock rotation and waste control
- Help manage busy service periods effectively, ensuring dishes are delivered on time
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless service and excellent customer experience
- Step up and take responsibility for the kitchen when required
About You
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef, ideally within a high-volume or hospitality environment
- Passionate about fresh, high-quality food and delivering excellent standards
- Confident working in a fast-paced kitchen and able to remain calm under pressure
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detai
- A positive, proactive team player with the ability to motivate and support others
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
- Professional, reliable and committed to delivering an outstanding dining experience
