Evening Head Chef
£37,505 per annum | 37.5 hours per week | Sunday – Thursday | 6:00pm – 2:00am

Are you an experienced chef who thrives in a busy kitchen and enjoys leading a team? We’re looking for an Evening Head Chef to take the lead on our evening operation, ensuring our customers receive consistently high-quality food and service throughout every shift.
This is a great opportunity for a passionate chef who enjoys working independently, leading from the front and taking pride in delivering great food.
What you’ll be doing- Lead and motivate the kitchen team during the evening service.
- Take responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchen from preparation through to close.
- Deliver consistently high-quality, fresh and innovative food.
- Maintain excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and health & safety.
- Manage stock, ordering, wastage and kitchen costs effectively.
- Support and develop your team, helping them to grow their skills and confidence.
- Work closely with the wider team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Ensure all kitchen processes and company standards are followed.
- Complete relevant checks and ensure the kitchen is left clean, safe and ready for the next service.
You’ll be an experienced Head Chef, Sous Chef or senior Chef who is confident leading a kitchen team and working independently.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for food.
- Has previous experience leading or supervising a kitchen team.
- Is organised, reliable and able to work calmly under pressure.
- Has a good understanding of food safety, allergens and H&S.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards.
- Is comfortable working evening and late-night shifts.
- Has a positive approach to teamwork and developing others.
