Learning & Development Data Analyst

We are looking for a Learning & Development Data Analyst to join our L&D team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of our learning data and reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for data to help shape reporting processes, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights that support business decisions and continuous improvement across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing:

Data Management & Reporting

Recording, updating, cleansing, and maintaining accurate L&D data

Ensuring data consistency and integrity across all L&D systems and processes

Producing regular reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making

Developing storyboards and visual reporting tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities


Analysis & Continuous Improvement

- Analysing learning and development data to provide actionable insights

- Identifying opportunities to improve existing reporting and data processes

- Supporting governance and compliance reporting requirements

- Helping to drive data-led improvements across the L&D function


Stakeholder Support


- Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements


- Supporting the wider L&D team with accurate and timely data analysis


- Providing clear and meaningful insights to support business decisions


About You

Essential

- Previous experience in a data analyst or reporting-focused role


- Strong attention to detail and accuracy


- Experience working with large data sets and data cleansing


- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills


- Experience creating dashboards and reports


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


- Ability to communicate data and insights clearly to stakeholders

Desirable

- Previous experience within Learning & Development, HR, or Apprenticeships


- Experience using learning management systems or HR systems


- Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools


- Experience identifying trends and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Salary range

  • £34,000 per year
