The Senior Platform Engineer will be the technical owner of the Data&AI platforms. This role requires a combination of hands on technical knowledge, analytical skills, strong communication, planning ability and prominent technical leadership skills to ensure the successful development, implementation, and optimization of Data&AI solutions that align with Costa Coffee's business objectives

What you’ll do
Being a Senior Platform Engineer is about so much more than bringing our coffee to the world. It’s your chance to stir up real success - which means you’ll:
• Take full ownership of Costa’s key Data&AI platforms, driving the vision and technical roadmap to ensure alignment with business goals
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Platform Team, Integrations Team and People as well as The Product Division of Data&AI to deliver and evolve high-quality technology solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and prioritise the technical backlog, balancing short /long-term priorities and ensuring that we are aligned with the overall product strategy and objectives
• Lead the technical evolution of our platforms to ensure a long-term robustness, security and reliability.
• Utilise technical knowledge to guide development teams and ensure the feasibility and scalability of solutions
Who you are
It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:
• Ability to communicate clearly with Dev Teams and Procut Teams towards a vision and defined goals for our platforms.
• Ability to author and maintain an emergent technical backlog with the right level of detail in collaboration with the Dev Teams and various stakeholders
• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer of DevOps in a Senior or Leadership role
• Proven experience working with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Web Services, AI&ML, Databases
• It is considered as an advantage if you have experience with Power BI, Fabric and Databricks
Location – Sofia – Hybrid
The role will be hybrid model with the expectation of being in the Sofia office 2-3 days per week as required. Some international travel may also be required on up to a quarterly basis.
