As the UK Platform Channel Manager, you will be the operational brain behind F1® Arcade’s social presence - the right brain to the Social Creative Lead’s left. This role is central to ensuring our content not only looks and feels world-class, but also lands with maximum impact across platforms. You’ll bring sharp platform expertise, staying ahead of algorithm shifts, spotting trends before they peak, and ensuring our content is scheduled, posted, tested, and reported with precision.

Working closely with the Social Creative Lead, you’ll balance creativity with execution, ensuring ideas are brought to life seamlessly across social feeds while actively managing and growing our online community - from sparking conversations and engaging with fans to moderating discussions and building lasting connections. You’ll also manage relationships with creators and influencers - from nurturing partnerships to activating through influencer management tools while building a strong and engaged community around F1® Arcade.
The ideal candidate is a social-native operator with an instinct for platforms, culture, and creators. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, combining analytical thinking with a love for storytelling, and will take pride in making sure every piece of content not only goes live, but goes further.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Operator

Own and optimise the UK platform ecosystem across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, Reddit, Discord and more
Define not just what gets posted, but why, how, when, and to whom
Build a unified structure for channel priorities, including purpose, role, and audience mapping

2. Algorithm-First Thinking

Drive platform growth through entertainment-first, data-led content, mastering formats and reward loops
Run multi-channel experiments, A/B tests, and iterate quickly based on performance signals
Deliver actionable insights on platform algorithms to shape creative and editorial decisions

3. Cross-Functional Power

Act as the bridge between creative, growth, content, and data teams
Create clear processes for content requests, scheduling, and performance feedback
Feed platform learnings into brand and campaign strategy, not just execution

4. Outcomes Over Output

Measure success by business impact: acquisition, retention, brand affinity, and cultural relevance
Establish and track platform-specific KPIs, focusing on what truly drives results
Lead with insights and learnings, ensuring content is purposeful rather than just plentiful

5. Platform Native, Not Brand Obsessed

Champion platform culture over rigid brand guidelines — if it doesn’t work natively, it doesn’t work
Push content that earns attention, not content that demands it
Build clear formatting and “what not to post” guidelines for each platform

6. Community Leadership & Creator Management

Actively manage and grow F1® Arcade’s online communities, sparking conversations, engaging with fans, and moderating discussions to maintain a positive environment
Build and nurture influencer and creator relationships, leveraging tools such as Pingfluence to scale impact
Develop playbooks for working with creators and empower community leads to deliver best-in-class engagement

7. Systems Builder & Growth Enabler

Design scalable systems — from content trackers to playbooks — that leave behind structure, not dependency
Build efficient workflows for scheduling, posting, and reporting that support both speed and quality
In larger team structures, manage editors, creators, and community leads to deliver consistently

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following experience:

Operating as a social-first platform manager, with hands-on expertise across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, Discord and emerging channels
Running content calendars end-to-end: scheduling, posting, testing, optimising, and reporting
Managing online communities, driving engagement through two-way conversations, moderation, and fostering loyalty
Building and scaling creator and influencer partnerships, with experience in managing relationships and activating campaigns
Applying algorithm-first thinking to content execution, including trend-spotting, test-and-learn cycles, and data-led decision making
Bridging creative and analytical disciplines - ensuring content is not only culturally relevant but also delivers measurable outcomes
Contributing to brand growth through platform-native storytelling, audience development, and cultural presence
Thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments, ideally within lifestyle, entertainment, or hospitality sectors
