WHY YOU’RE HERE

The Senior Marketing Exec, Restaurants, is responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager in planning, managing and implementing Jamie Oliver Restaurant (JOR) Group marketing campaigns, with a primary focus on our international franchise business. You’ll work closely with our international restaurant partners to bring them closer to the Jamie Oliver brand, overseeing the development and implementation of marketing plans and materials to bring Jamie’s vision to life in all our sites.
This role requires you to work with internal teams and partners to facilitate the delivery of marketing assets across our digital platforms, social media accounts and franchise partners as required, providing exceptional internal communications and compiling and distributing regular department reporting.

WHAT YOU’RE HERE TO DO

• Develop, manage and implement marketing plans to enhance all JOR brands’ image and position within the marketplace and the general public internationally.
• Develop new marketing campaign assets for international partners to edit and implement. Manage and update existing marketing & brand assets and support for international partners.
• Review all marketing plans, activity plans and collateral from partners, managing the approval process and sending through feedback, including supporting on weekly/monthly calls with international marketing managers.
• Support ongoing website updates/maintenance for JO owned and operated business, third party website updates (affiliates/listings) and coordinate franchise partner website set-ups and ongoing management, (including managing relationships with third-party agencies).
• Maintain key marketing manuals for each restaurant brand, building in strong links to the Jamie Oliver Group’s PR, marketing, social media and editorial teams. This should be periodically communicated to partners.
• Measure the success of marketing activity by tracking performance for international markets.
• Share best practices on reviewing the impact of any campaigns implemented. Conduct relevant market research/trend reviews with the local marketing contacts and operators when required.
• Provide a link to the JOG central marketing team for partners and the rest of the international team, coordinating their activities with our international activity planner and supporting them with ideas.
• Support the operations and new projects teams with pitch documents, new partner kickoffs, on-boarding all new partners with our marketing process and the support and resources available.
• Oversee basic management of all international social accounts including setting up of business accounts, advertisement accounts, & third-party requests.
• Manage LinkedIn Calendar for JOR Group,and work closely with the Restaurants Team Coordinator on Monthly Partner comms ensuring all relevant marketing updates are captured.
• Create and develop activities, promotions and training sessions that international restaurants can execute internally for staff to drive engagement and culture.
• Create, coordinate and support filming times with Jamie, including booking time, writing scripts, filming, editing and attending shoots.
• Assist with the delivery of internal and external JOR events.
• Manage key company document updates, including a cross-business activity grid, a key statistics report and updates on key countries. Collate the relevant information from internal team members and specified JOR partners to circulate to internal teams and/ or third parties on a regular basis.
• Organise diary invites & agendas for meetings with JOR partners on a regular basis, to communicate ongoing successes and learnings; for both the JOR Marketing manager & JOR Exec team to attend, as well as other administrative duties as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing activities
• Experience of marketing in a franchise environment
• Experience managing budgets
• Experience overseeing the design and production of print and digital materials and publications with smooth implementation and evaluation
• IT literate.

• Knowledge of Asana beneficial but not essential.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS & CONTACTS

• Work closely with the JOR team, Restaurant Director, Business Development Director and Head of Operations, as well as group Head of Marketing and the Head of Brand Communications and PR JOR Editorial Team - This role will include coordinating the delivery of recipes, tone of voice, design & marketing collateral and communicating that feedback to external partners
• JOR Art Team - Briefing the JOR Art team on key projects and liaising with them to produce guide materials and feedback for our partners
• Work with the wider Marketing Team, Central Commissioning Team and the Digital Platform Teams (social, online, editorial & video) to bring these campaigns to life, ensuring our joint objectives and KPIs are met
• Build strong relationships with all of our international restaurant partners, landlords and their agencies.
• Facilities Team - Coordinate internal communications events and initiatives with the team to ensure the delivery of staff communications around launches.
