About our Business

Super 8 Restaurants has enjoyed remarkable success since its inception almost 10 years ago and now comprises five restaurants in London: Mountain, Brat, Brat x Climpsons Arch, Kiln and Smoking Goat. We recently announced the launch of our sixth restaurant, Impala, which will open in Soho in Spring 2026 and will see us bring our total team size to c.375. Now, as we prepare for further growth, we are looking to appoint a Recruitment and Engagement Lead.

Each of our restaurants is unique in its offer and setting, but we are united in delivering outstanding ingredients and great atmosphere. We are consistently dynamic, with menus that change twice daily to take advantage of the best produce available. Customers return, consistently, inspired by innovative cooking and an evolving and exciting dining experience.

About the Role

The Recruitment and Engagement Lead will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment across all of our restaurants and central roles and for the further development of our Super 8 employer brand. As a strategic partner to leaders in our restaurant teams, the successful candidate will be considered and commercial and will take the time to really get to know our business, understand our values and the behaviours that are central to how we work and collaborate. They will be happy working with high levels of autonomy and delivering at pace.

How we Work:

We are highly entrepreneurial, detail-oriented and hands-on, and all of our central roles have an element of high and low to them. If our business and this role are of interest, it’s important you are ready to “do the doing”.

We have recently implemented a new ATS; however, there is further opportunity to really embed its use across our teams and rethink and clarify our current recruitment processes. Above all, we are looking for a Recruitment and Engagement Lead who is really passionate about what we do and about bringing great people into all areas of our business.

With further restaurant openings in the pipeline, it’s important for us to equip our teams with the knowledge, skills and processes that will add value, reduce complexity and deliver clear and reportable outcomes across all areas of our organisation.

Candidates will need to demonstrate their ability to prioritise, influence and run a really robust and engaging project plan, as well as their ability to lead from the front and model “what good looks like”. This role will be front and centre in ensuring candidates have a standout experience when they engage with Super 8, so strong communication and copywriting skills are also a must.
