Spinnaker’s at YYJ is looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced airport environment.
This role oversees Front of House with a strong focus on team leadership, guest experience, food quality, and operational execution. If you thrive in high-volume environments and enjoy balancing people leadership with hands-on operations support, we’d love to connect with you.

What You’ll Be Doing
Support daily Front of House and Kitchen operations
Lead shifts and help drive an exceptional guest experience
Coach, develop, and motivate restaurant teams
Maintain food safety, operational, and brand standards
Support labor, inventory, and cost control initiatives
Assist with scheduling, forecasting, and administrative tasks
Help maintain merchandising, displays, and restaurant presentation
Troubleshoot operational challenges and support peak business flow
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years of restaurant or food service leadership experience
Full-service dining and bar experience strongly preferred
Experience overseeing both FOH and BOH operations preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is an asset

This position is located in a secure airport environment and a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) is required. All candidates must be legally authorised to work in Canada and must be able to provide the necessary government-issued documentation required for airport security clearance.
